ARUWE RECEIVES AWARD OF APPRECIATION FROM LAGOS STATE MINISTRY OF YOUTH AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

The Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Tunbosun Haruna Aruwe, has received an Award of Appreciation from the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development in recognition of his outstanding support, unwavering commitment, and invaluable contributions towards the successful implementation of the Diversion Community Rehabilitation Programme in Mushin Local Government.

The award was presented immediately after the graduation ceremony organised for rehabilitated children under the Diversion Community Rehabilitation Programme held in Mushin Local Government, with top government officials, stakeholders, social welfare experts, and community leaders in attendance.

The delegation from the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development was led by Mr Kayode Araoye who commended Hon. Aruwe for his exceptional leadership, dedication to youth development, child rehabilitation, and continuous support for programmes aimed at promoting social inclusion and community advancement.

The Ministry further noted that the Chairman’s administration has consistently demonstrated strong collaboration and commitment towards the success of the programme designed to rehabilitate and reintegrate children in conflict with the law into society through counselling, education, vocational training, and empowerment initiatives.

Speaking after receiving the award, Hon. Aruwe expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development for the recognition, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to supporting initiatives and policies that promote social welfare, youth empowerment, and sustainable community development in Mushin Local Government.

He further reiterated that his administration will continue to partner with relevant agencies and stakeholders to create opportunities and programmes that positively impact the lives of young people and vulnerable members of the Local Government.
