Abroozzy (born September 1, 1998), whose real name is Olowoyeye Mohammed Temitope, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is recognized for blending Afrobeats with hip hop and Afro-dance elements. He is signed to the Nigerian record label Fierce Empire.

Early life

Abroozzy was born in Nigeria and hails from Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State. He was raised in a family of five children and is the firstborn of the Olowoyeye family. His interest in music developed at a young age, and he began exploring music recording and performance during his teenage years.

Career

Abroozzy officially began his professional music career in 2019. He gained early attention through live performances at music festivals and entertainment events across parts of Nigeria, including Lokoja and Ilorin. His energetic stage presence and genre-blending sound helped him build a growing fan base.

Several of his singles, such as “Problem” and “Jo! (Dance)”, have attracted thousands of streams on digital music platforms. In 2023, he received a nomination for Next Rated Artist of the Year at the Zoom Zoom Awards. He was also nominated in 2025 for the same category by AfroBuzzLoaded.

Abroozzy has collaborated with emerging producers from Kogi and Kwara states, contributing to the development of his distinctive sound. As of 2026, he is working on a new single titled “BUGA.”
